Welcome to the homepage of Gulf Coast Artists' Alliance, Inc. We are a non-profit organization based in the Tampa Bay Florida area supporting artists and art lovers. What exactly is Gulf Coast Artists’ Alliance? GCAA was formed to fill a gap in communication between area artists of all disciplines as well as other arts organizations. We feel if we all work together by sharing resources and information, that we can have a visible presence in the community, facilitate common goals, and encourage fair practices in our profession. What makes GCAA different from other art organizations? Our members are from all artistic disciplines, and we encourage those who are talented in multi-media. For example, many visual artists also write, dance, act, sing, etc. We are a group of poets, musicians, storytellers, actors, authors and visual artists who share our thoughts and ideas at our meetings and organize exhibitions and multi-media events. How do I become involved? Our meetings are typically held monthly at different members’ studios. The meeting locations are posted here on our website approximately two weeks in advance. Attend your first meeting as a guest and if you wish to join, associate annual dues are only $25. Artist membership, which includes exhibition and retail gallery priviledges, is $45 per year, or only $3.75 per month (effective 4/1/08). Both amateurs and professionals are welcome.
